Property Disputes
Property problems take many different forms. You might be involved in an issue concerning a Lease or Tenancy Agreement. Often these disputes concern unpaid rent or problems that arise at the end of a Lease with dilapidation claims or claims to the court for a new Lease. You may be involved in an issue concerning ownership of land, for example disputes with co-owners, boundary disputes or issues involving restrictive covenants. Alternatively there may be a dispute concerning the terms of a contract for sale or purchase of land which is causing a problem.
Our Dispute Team is headed by Rachel Nicol who works with our Consultant Bill Fudge. Between them they have many years experience in dealing with problems that arise out of property ownership and leasing. Rachel and Bill also share expertise in Employment Law which is complimentary to the issues that many commercial and business clients face with employees
We work closely with local commercial property agents and residential letting agents advising on courses of action available to a Landlord in property management issues.
